Lorraine Betsy Jamieson

June 7, 1944 - May 21, 2012

Lorraine died suddenly in her sleep on May 21, 2012, in her Powell River home. She was born on June 7, 1944, and was predeceased by her parents, Les and Betsy Jamieson. She is survived by her brother Allen and his wife Gene, nephew Doug, niece Bonnie (Ewan), great-nephew Ryan and great-niece Jaimie. She will also be remembered by many other relatives and friends.

Lorraine resided in Powell River most of her life, mainly in Cranberry, and will be remembered as the lady from Woolworths’ lunch counter and then as the owner/operator of J’s Place. Lorraine was very proud of her volunteer work with the Terry Fox Foundation.
