Tribute

It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of our loving mother and sister Louise Patricia Voysey, at home in Powell River, surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, March 18. Louise is survived by her daughter Renee Jones (Dean) and son Earl Talbot, both residing in Calgary, Alberta; sisters Marilyne Lorenzo and Pamela Susan Royan (Dennis); and brother Greg Voysey (Laurie). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Louise was born on Vancouver Island in the community of Port Alberni in September of 1948. There she married and went on to raise her children. Louise then moved to Powell River where she resided and worked for over 40 years. She loved Powell River and made many friends over those years. Louise was a dedicated mother first and treasured her family every day. She is also remembered for her kindness, sense of humour, loving smile and her ability to get along with others. Louise loved to travel and enjoyed spending time with her family and siblings, whether close to home or as far away as Mexico. We all miss her dearly and at this time there are no immediate arrangements. A celebration of her life will be posted at a later date.
