Tribute
Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great great-grandmother. Lucy was born to Amelia and Antonio Valent in Venzone, Italy. She spent most of her life in Powell River where she touched many lives in her own special way. In her mobile years she found great comfort with various church communities.
Lucy is survived by her sister Rita, daughter Mitsy, granddaughters Sherry and Tanya, great-grandchildren David, Jeffrey and Jaimee and great-great-granddaughter Amelia. Lucy was a remarkable woman and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
May you rest in peace Lucia Maria DellaMaestra.

Relation: my mother's friend
Lucia was my (Berneice) mother’s friend and neighbour when they resided in the Centennial Homes. We had many interesting situations together. Both moved into Olive Devaud and met up again, unfortunity my mother passed away shortly after that so I lost touch. . It’s sad to loose our loved ones but it’s nice to have so many memories to look back on. My condolences to the family, Betty
