Tribute
Passed away peacefully at the Evergreen Extended Care Facility Saturday, May 4, 2013. She was predeceased by her daughter Patricia in 1972 and her husband Jack in 1982. Ann will be missed by her daughters Janet Welsh, Susan (Keith) Perry and son John, grandsons Mason, Andrew, Curtis Welsh, Jonathon and Alexander Perry; her brother Don (Valerie) Purdie of North Vancouver.
Ann grew up in Calgary, Alberta and completed her nursing training at the Calgary General Hospital receiving her RN. She worked in the OR at the Calgary General for a year before moving to Vancouver where she completed her Public Health training at UBC.
Ann moved to Powell River in the early 1950s to work as a public health nurse. Shortly after her arrival she met and married her husband Jack and together they raised their family.

The family would like to thank the staff at Evergreen Extended Care for the excellent care that Ann received.
