Lynne Louise Noble

September 8, 1950 - May 28, 2026

Tribute

Lynne Louise Harrison was born on September 8, 1950 in Lions Gate Hospital, North Vancouver, BC and passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026 after a brave battle with leukemia.  Lynne displayed incredible strength and never stopped fighting until her final days.  She was an extraordinary woman, admired by all who knew her.

Lynne was predeceased by her beloved parents, Al and Fern Harrison.  She is survived by her loving son Benjamin (Elena), her devoted husband Gordon Petrie and her two brothers Bill and Ricky Harrison.

She was blessed with two beautiful granddaughters who were her whole world.  As “Nana” she filled their lives with joy and adventure, creating countless cherished memories that they will carry with them forever.

In her earlier years Lynne worked as a flight attendant for Ward Air and later pursued her passion for design by opening her own store, “Going Home,” where she sold beautiful home decor.  Lynne had a keen sense of style and an appreciation for the finer things in life.  She was a true city girl,  loved shopping and exploring new coffee shops, where she enjoyed sitting and people-watching.

Lynne loved to travel, with cherished memories of adventures in Whistler, France and Italy.  One of her last dreams was to visit Bali with her dear friend and we believe she is now sitting on the beach there, finally at peace.

Lynne’s vibrant spirit and love for life will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Gord, Ben, Bill, Rickie & families. Heartfelt condolences to you all. Lynne was such a classy lady…just like her Mom. I loved running into Lynne out & about at the local coffee shops, chatting & catching up. Always a breath of fresh air. I’ll miss seeing her.

Ben, Elena, Sophia and Callie: So very sorry to hear about Lynne’s passing. She was always such a bright spot! I will never forget when she had her store, she came to my Mom’s and helped her set her table for visitors. So kind. She will be missed.

From: Susan Black
Relation: Close friend

Lynne was so much to so many. We were close friends but for a very short time. Far too short. Lynne was such a thoughtful and generous person. I will never forget her and will be forever grateful for the time that we had. Not enough memories but I will cherish them.
