Tribute

Marion Ruth McKnight November 28, 1925 – September 8, 2018 It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother, Ruth, in her 93rd year of life. Born on the Prairies, Ruth moved to BC to pursue a teaching career. She taught on the Sunshine Coast, Texada Island and in Powell River, where she met her husband of 65 years Gene. Ruth was a woman of infinite wisdom and lived life with courage, compassion and humour. She is survived by her husband Gene, daughters Joanne and Catharine, son David, their spouses, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A date for the celebration of Ruth’s life will be announced in the near future.
