Tribute

In 1974 Martin found the knowledge of God and began to enjoy in abundance God’s grace and peace. By God’s own glory and goodness His divine power gave Martin everything he needed for life and godliness.

[*]Martin enjoyed the Lord’s very great and precious promises, and through them experienced the divine attributes of his Lord and Saviour. He made every effort to add to his faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. In his life he possessed these qualities in increasing measure and they made him effective and productive in His knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Martin took delight from being cleansed from his past sins. He has received a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

A deep loss is felt by his bride, Audrey, of 45 years. Martin was an important and caring Dad of three including their families: Sandra (Lorne) with Adam, Mackenzie and Taylor; Steven with Jesse, Matthew, Parker and Breanna; Mark (Jodi) with Faith and Keegan, making him a proud and loving “Papa” to nine grandchildren. Martin is also survived by 11 brothers and sisters.

We thank God for the gift of his life and the blessing of the time we spent with him. As a family we extend heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Martin Andreae and the team of nurses at Powell River General Hospital.

A causal celebration of life will be held Thursday, May 14 at 11 am at Evangel Pentecostal Church.
