December 18, 1938 - October 13, 2022

Tribute

Mel will always be remembered for his quick wit and quirky sense of humour. He was a hard-working generous man that was very loved and will be forever missed.

He leaves behind his loving and devoted wife, Hilda, with whom he shared 28 years of love and laughter, his daughter Jamie (Ross), grandsons Jesse (Stef) and Branden (Danielle), and great-grandsons Noah and Grayson. Mel was also Papa to Hilda’s children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mel was predeceased by his first wife, Judy, and daughter, Kelly, as well as a host of relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank Dr. Charles Van Zyl for going above and beyond, along with the hospital staff for their kindness and compassion.

Until we meet again, all our love.

At Mel’s request, there will be no service.
