We are so glad to have known Mike. We first met him in the hospital during his daily visits with his wife, Joan, who shared a hospital room with my father. When Joan was moved to ECU we then would see Mike there. A few months later, we were shocked to see Mike as a resident at ECU who then HE shared a room with my father. We found Mike to be a beautiful, caring, gentle and kind man. Regardless of his illness, he always smiled and appreciated everything and everyone. Every evening when in to visit my father, I looked forward to my visit with Mike, we shared some good laughs. Frank, my husband due to his work schedule could only visit Mike on the weekends but to Frank every visit with Mike was a special one. We realize that you have lost a special person and We are so sorry to have lost a wonderful friend.
