Olga Mcleod
July 9, 1932 - November 26, 2015
Tribute
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness we announce the passing of Olga at the age of 83 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years Neil and their six sons Neil, Bruce (Helen), Mick (Trish), Dan (Sandy), Jim (Linda) and Ken, 10 grandchildren Sean (Kayla), Jolene, Christy (Scott), Shawna (Ben), Crystal, Bobby-Jean, Danni-Lee, Kelsey, Tyler and Alicia and five great-grandchildren Aurora, Cru, Shae, Layla and Sophia. Olga is also survived by sisters Irene and Nina, numerous nieces and nephews and her kitty Cheetah.
Born in Coleman, Alberta, Neil and Olga moved their family from Fort St. John in 1965 to get away from cold weather and continued to raise their family in Powell River.
Olga was well-known for her passion and gift with flowers, her meticulous garden and “boogying” on the dance floor.
No service by request. A small family gathering is to be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Powell River SPCA.
She is loved and will be missed.
