Paolina Zago February 18, 1930 – October 19, 2012
Born in Prata di Pordenone, Italy, Paolina passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband Giacomo of 58 years, her sister Anna (Angelo) Brisotto, daughter Pia Vallee, sons Angelo (Andrea), Eugenio (Manon), grandchildren Lina, Karen (Les), Melissa (Jared), Anthony (Emily), Kaylee, Tyler, Brian (Toni), James and Jakob, great-grandson Carter Zago and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Raffaele in 2008 and son-in-law Marcel in 2011.
Prayers will be held on Friday, October 26 at 4 pm and Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, October 27 at 1 pm at Church of the Assumption. Burial to follow at Powell River Cemetery. Tea will be served in St. Joseph’s Hall afterwards.
Flowers gratefully declined but donations may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation or a charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to Stubberfield Funeral Home Ltd.
