Tribute
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved father and Opa. Peter was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Margaret, his sons Mike and Bill and will be missed by daughters Betty ( Lee) and Peggy (Allan), grandchildren Dani (Mike), Roslyn, Conor (Dani), Joslyn ( Steve), Darcy, Ryan, Aaron, Joel, Kendra and great grandson Archer.
He also leaves behind his brother, sisters and many nieces and nephews in the Netherlands Born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands he immigrated to Canada in 1949 with his new bride. After seven years in Mission BC, Peter, Margaret and their three children moved to Powell River in 1956, where their youngest daughter was born.
Our appreciation and thanks to Dr. Morwood, and the Olive Devaud staff who cared for him with such kindness this past year.

Betsy & Peggy, I’m so sorry to hear about your dad. I have such fond memories of our camping trips up at Olson’s Landing. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
