Pierre (Perry) Christopher Hamoline, July 7, 1961 – November 12, 2010
Perry was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, the youngest of six children born to Albert and Gladys. He married Frieda Tiechroeb in 1985 and they moved to Powell River in 1998.
He has three daughters Lela (and grandson Ryan) of Surrey, Nadine (Tim) and Michelle of Powell River. He is also survived by siblings Paul of Grand Forks, Yvonne (Lorne) Horne of Creston, Laurette of Cranbrook, Maurice (Mary Lou) of Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan and Dave (Cindy) of Powell River, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Perry knew the true treasures in life are family and friends. He most enjoyed spending time with people he loved and who loved him, camping, fishing, golfing, quading, watching hockey and travelling. The family home was always open to friends of his daughters. He gave them all special names and they all had
a special place in his heart.
Funeral services will be held at Westview Baptist Church on Friday, November 19, at 11 am. Luncheon to follow at Myrtle Point Golf Course. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to BC Cancer Society or Canadian Hemochromatosis Society.

My thoughts are with you all at Perry’s sudden passing. If memory serves me correctly, I was 5 or 6 years old when I took a trip to BC with Mom and Dad (Leo & Annette) to visit your family – it’s been a long time but the family connection has remained strong in my heart. I hope you can find solace in each other’s company and celebrate Perry’s life and the many treasures I’m sure he’s left you with. Sorry I can’t be with you at this time.
