Richard (Rip) Maslin, August 16, 1928 – November 14, 2010
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Richard Maslin on November 14, 2010 in the Powell River General Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Lorraine, children Fred, Marilyn (Ed) McCleary, Ron, Debbie (Will) Chulmeister. He is also dearly missed by his grandchildren Ramon (Tammy) McCullough, Ricky (Heather) McCullough, Chelsey (Nick) Fremont; great-grandchildren
Maddex, Bailey and Joey; sisters, Gloria Clarke, Rose (Don) Staples, Nancy (Tony) Bullock and Virginia (Red) Stigings and many nieces, nephews and close friends. Richard was predeceased by his brothers Fred and Bob Maslin.
There will be a Celebration of Richard’s Life on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 1 pm at the Lang Bay Community Hall for all his family and many, many friends. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Richard’s name.
