Tribute
It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Rio Mickele Cecconi at Powell River General Hospital at the age of 89. Rio was born October 15, 1932, in Powell River. He was predeceased by his wife Anna Pia and his sisters Katie Bombardir and Neva Narduzzi. Rio leaves behind to mourn his son Chris, daughter Wendy, son-in-law Andy, granddaughters Brittney (Caleb) and Ashley, sister-in-law Nilla, brother-in-law Remigio and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Special thanks to Dr. Naylor and Dr. Sawchuck for the loving compassionate care given to Rio over the years. Also, special thanks to Dr. Booth and all the staff at the Kidney Care Clinic. No service by request. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice.
