Tribute

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Rita. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Bob, her daughter Tari (Scott). son Doug and three grandsons Sterling, Stuart and Taylor, her twin sister Rea, sister Bernice and brothers Ed, David and Gary and many nieces, nephews and many friends. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Phylis and John Swanson and brothers Danny and Bobby. Some of her many interests including hiking, bingo, gambling, crafts and spending time with family. She also enjoyed doing charity work at various organizations over the years. The family would like to thank all the healthcare workers that had a part in making Rita as comfortable as possible and appreciate all the support from many friends during her journey. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a charity of your choice. At this time the family has chosen to have a celebration of life to be held at a later date. The family is extremely proud of the warrior that Rita was.
