Tribute
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, son, brother and uncle. John is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Genevieve, mother Jeanette Stockley, twin sister Christine (Brian) Hill, brother Pleamon (Karen) Stockley, sister Hallie Shears, brothers-in-law Glen (Krista), Jack (Linda), Sandy, Larry (Sherry), sisters-in-law Joyce (Maurice), Marie (Tom), Diana (Rick) and Pat. John is also survived by his nieces Suzette (Joe) Psaila, Selena Stockley (Paul), nephew Brian Small, lifelong friends Bill (Marie) Parsley and numerous nieces and nephews throughout Canada.
John was born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and moved to BC in 1969 where he worked for many years in the forest industry. John was a very loving and thoughtful man who deeply loved his family, friends, fishing and trips to the casino. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A small private memorial service for family and close friends will be held at a later date.
Gone on a long fishing trip…
