Roger Brian Dunsworth
February 2, 1933 - June 4, 2011
Tribute
Roger was born on February 2, 1933 in Sheffield, England and passed away peacefully on June 4, 2011. He was predeceased by his first wife Jackie in 1983. He leaves behind his wife Loraine, his children Ann (Dennis), Dave, James (Judy), Michael (Charlene), John, Edith (Wayne), Douglas, 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one on the way. He served in the Royal Army Medical Corps from 1951 to 1958 in Germany and North Africa. He was an active member in the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 164, Powell River.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, June 8 at 11 am at Stubberfields Funeral Home in Powell River. A tea followed at the Legion at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Stroke Recovery Club c/o the Royal Canadian Legion.
