Tribute
Rose Shillito, born in 1921, entered heaven’s gate on Saturday, March 4, at the age of 96. Rose was a strong, caring, funny, loving and elegant woman. She enjoyed her family, friends and many hobbies throughout her life. She was always encouraging and supportive to many people. Rose was a mother of 16 and the many generations who followed, from daughter to great-great-grandchildren. She will surely be missed by many.
A service will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday, March 9, at Stubberfield Funeral Home; a burial service will follow afterward. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer Society of BC.
