Russell Edward Jones born July 12, 1950 passed away suddenly on August 20, 2018. He is lovingly remembered and missed by his wife of 46 years Annie, his three sons Ronnie, Dennis (Michelle), Kenny (Kellie) and all of his grandchildren, Danika, Rion, Bria, Mia, Tinsley, Rowen and Haylie.
Russell, an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed spending time with family and friends camping, fishing and hunting. He was dedicated to his community and liked to spend time volunteering for organizations like Therapeutic Riding and the Carlson Club.
He was a champion of fun and games and could be found cutting a rug around the dance floor, playing darts, horseshoes, washoes and endless games of cards.
His family would like to thank all those who have helped during this trying time. Your kind words and gestures are sincerely appreciated.
In lieu of flowers the family would ask for donations to Powell River Therapeutic Riding Association.
