Tribute
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Sandy, a loving mother, daughter and sister to us all. Sandy was predeceased by her dad Cliff and leaves behind her son Richard, long-time partner and friend Richard Tattersall, mother Gwen, sisters Jody, Cathy, Shelly and Cheryl, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Many a day her name is spoken,
and many an hour she is in our thoughts,
a link in our family chain is broken,
she has gone from our home but not from our hearts.

We met Sandy in Yellowknife a few years back when she was here to visit her sister, Shelly. We had a very nice visit and I remember her as being quite energetic and easy going. I was impressed by the huge and delicious meals she prepared for her sister and family everyday….I would say to her, “geez, this is a lot of food, Sandy”…she’d reply “ah, it will be gone by midnight”. Sure enough it was…never any leftovers! Love you all…take care, Sharon and Bill Morrison and Family, Yellowknife, NT.

So saddened by the loss of my cousin. My memories of Sandy are mostly from when we were kids: her spunkiness, love of animals, her special closeness to Grampa (they were kindred spirits). She was daring and pretty and had a great laugh – she was a precious part of our family and will truly be missed but never forgotten!
