Sheila Ross Gill

January 13, 1931 - January 4, 2012

Tribute

Sheila passed away early in the morning of January 4, after having been kept very comfortable thanks to the tireless efforts of all the wonderful staff at Olive Devaud Residence.

Sheila was born in Northern Ireland, and emigrated to Canada in the early 1950s. She fell in love with and married Peter Archibald Gill in 1956. She worked most of her life in government jobs which she enjoyed. She will now be able to join her husband who passed away in 1979.

Sheila is survived by her son Ross and his partner Jamie, sister Margaret and her husband Elvin, and also her dear friend Virginia.

In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations to be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

schlaf schön Sheila…

Sheila was a wonderful woman, very witty. I helped her when she lived upstairs at the Olive Devaud and we had some good laughs!! She would somehow manage to “turn things around” and I would leave “mixed up”!!
