Tribute

Shellie was born on March 25, 1970, and passed away on March 2, 2021, with her family by her side. She is survived by her daughter Micheline and her children Korbin, Vira and Ethyn; daughter Claire and her children Zachariah, Violet and Maxx; and Luc and Adam. She was always so proud of her children and grandchildren and was so concerned with their welfare. Shellie had a full life: playing classical piano, singing in choirs, being a foster mother, helping teens involved in addictions, being part of an archaeological dig and being a daycare worker. While her husband Gerald was alive, they farmed and had rabbits, goats, pigs and chickens, and sold eggs and rabbit pelts to family and friends. Shellie was generous with what she had and always kept in touch with friends and family, even when she had her own struggles and challenges. She befriended many along her journey. Her phone rang constantly. Shellie took care of everyone she loved, even when she suffered from various illnesses. She was always there to help them solve problems or work through their issues. The family would like to thank all the health staff who helped her survive her struggles and challenges. She was loved and will be missed as she was one of a kind.
