Susan Hodgson

July 12, 1949 - December 26, 2018

July 12, 1949 – December 26, 2018 Sue fell asleep in death with family by her side at Powell River General Hospital. She will be deeply missed by her many friends and family, but especially by her husband Dave, children Shane, Lisa (Alan), Aaron (Kiran) and Tabby, and grandchildren Bradley, Quentin and Asha. Sue was born in Powell River and spent her entire life here. Her roots went deep in Powell River; her mother was also born at Powell River General Hospital and her grandmother arrived on Texada Island at just four years old. Sue was well known in the community as a person who advocated for special needs people. She loved everyone around her, feeding all who came to her home. Each week, Sue volunteered many hours to share her faith with others in the community. Everyone is welcome to share with us in a memorial in remembrance of her life at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Saturday, January 5, at 2 pm.
