Tribute
In heartfelt sorrow, we announce the passing of Theodore at the Powell River hospital on Friday, November 17, 2017 at age 93. He leaves in mourning his sister Louise and his children Gérard (Manon), Yvon (Heather), Lise (Onil), Nicole, Lucie, Paul, Jacinthe (Doug), Françoise (Alan), Jean-Pierre (Char), Michel (Rieko), Julie (Martin) his grand-children, great grand-children, cousins, in-laws and friends. He is preceded by his wife Lucille, his parents William & Theodora, his siblings Noela, Edward, Armand. Known for his tenacious personality, he was a hard worker who loved to socialize, play fiddle, harmonica, guitar and even tried the piano. He will be missed and remembered for his bright smile and energy, his passion for health, garden, the outdoors & the woodland. He will be in the best of company as his spirit reunites with his wife Lucille.
In memory of Theodore Martineau prayers will be dedicated at the 10 am Mass at the Church of the Assumption on Sunday, January 7th, 2018. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
Family & friends wish to thank the hospital staff, doctors, nurses, hospice volunteers, Knights of Columbus, Stubberfield Funeral Home. Your caring hands, smiles and kind words are lovingly engraved in our hearts. Summer of 2018, the family will host a celebration of life in memory of Theodore.
