Tribute

Wilda Pauline (Haughton) Kiland

November 11, 1925 – June 14, 2016

Wilda was born on the Haughton farm, Southwest of Carnduff, Saskatchewan, as one of eight children  Raising her children was the most important project.  After her children, Mom spent most of her time working at BCFP Hammond, until she retired. Mom passed away at the Willington Creek Village in Powell River, BC  Mom was pre-deceased by the love of her Life

Gordon Kiland – 1958

Mom was also pre-deceased by six of her brothers & sisters:

Lawrence Haughton

Clair Haughton

Kenneth Haughton

Ethel (Haughton) Patten

Edna (Haughton) Cooper

Ellen (Haughton) Redpath

Remaining sibling: Lorraine (Haughton) Shier lives in Carnduff Saskatchewan

                                                    Heaven has gained another Angel

Mom passed away peacefully, surrounded by her 4 children (Warren, Linda, Laura, Marla) and there extended families.  After Dad died in 1958, Mom never re-married, which made her Life challenging but also very complete.  Mom lived each day looking for the bright side and managed to raise four children on her own.  She loved square dancing, computer club and working in the yard.  She is now re-united in Heaven with our Dad (Gordon Kiland).  Mom has been waiting 56 years to be there with him.  There will be some dancing in Heaven tonight.

Love you forever

Warren, Linda, Laura, Marla
