William Daryle Aseltine

August 18, 1947 - April 29, 2026

Tribute

Daryle was born August 18, 1947 and passed away unexpectedly April 29, 2026.  He is survived by daughter Shari (Doug) MacDonald, Son Steve (Kim); grandchildren Josh (Lindsay), Dani (Dana) and Mia (Jimme);  siblings Duane (Shirley), Diane (Joe) Formosa, Judy Carlson, Pat Vroom and Dean (Ruth);  sister-in-law Valerie, Uncle George (Bonnie) Stephen, many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends Marvin Yaroshuk, Liz Sheehan and Judy Hackett.

He was predeceased by his parents Margaret and Harold, his brother Jim and brothers-in-law Max and George.

He worked in the forest industry all his life and loved every minute of it, most of it as a log barge loader.  Daryl was a ‘classic’ old time logger, dirt track racer, Harley Davidson and animal lover.  He was a truly kind and generous man.

A gathering will be held Wednesday, May 6 at his home, 4020 Yaroshuk Road at 2:00pm.

Appreciation goes out to the amazing First Responders, emergency room staff, NP Sacha Slootweg and Dr. S. Uhlman.

Not one to sit around when he was finished, his life ended as he lived it – Gotta Go!
