It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bill Kenmuir, after a courageous battle with cancer he succumbed on November 09, 2010 at the age of 74. He is survived by daughter, Nina (Joe) Arrowsmith; son, John Kenmuir; grandsons, Chris and Shawn Doucet; sister Marion Robertson and many nieces, nephews and friends. He is pre-deceased by his loving wife Doreen, parents, John and Marion Kenmuir and brother Jack. There will be a celebration of life held at The Powell River Town Centre Hotel on November 20, 2010 at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Cancer Society or the Canadian Lung Association. Arrangements entrusted to Stubberfield Funeral Home. We were saddened to read of Bill’s passing, in today’s Peak. We were on the same crew as him during our time as members of Citizens On Patrol, and enjoyed his company, his stories about his family, The Orient, and life in general.
Our heartfelt condolences to the family.
He was a good man and we will remember him fondly.
