“Finally at Peace”
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Vernon Llewellyn Tuck Jr. of Powell River, BC. Age 47 years. He was born in Vancouver April 1, 1963 and died January 6, 2011 in Powell River. He is survived by and will be greatly missed by his children Garrett, Brian and Miranda Tuck: his parents Vernon and Gwen Tuck, his sister Dianne (Dean) Harris , all of Powell River. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends and will always be remembered in a special way by Breanda Small. Vern had a great love for music and nature. Quite often you would find him strumming a guitar and singing or carving or cutting wood. He also liked fishing at the Westview wharf and at Haslem Lake.
There will be a memorial gathering on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at Stubberfield Chapel Reception Hall, 7221 Duncan St. If you would like to remember Vern in a special way, the family has requested donations could be made in his name to the local S.P.C.A. or a charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to Stubberfield Funeral Home Ltd.

My condolences to Vern’s family at this tme. I went to school with Vern and met up again with him later in our lives, he was a very likable person.
