Silvano (Sid) Nadalini

Tribute
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Silvano.
Silvano was born in San Martino di Codroipo, Udine, Italy. At fourteen years old, he began his trade as a Carpenter/Cabinet Maker. He immigrated to Powell River in 1951 at the age of twenty-two. While becoming a part of the Powell River community, he developed a close friendship with the Pagani family and married Maria Pagani in 1957. During their sixty-year union they worked hard to create a good life for their family. Silvano was a loving and devoted husband, father, and Nonno. He always put his family first. He believed in hard work and was passionate about his chosen trade as a carpenter and a builder. He valued honesty and humility. We will miss him deeply.
Silvano was predeceased by his beloved grandson Jesse. He is survived by his wife Mary, daughter Diane(Frank), sons Dennis and Rick(Tracy) and grandchildren Sean, Ria, and Jordyn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Italy and a large extended family in Canada.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Nadalini and Girard families at this time of sorrow. While we did not know Sid well, we knew him to be a kind and generous person and a wonderful father to Diane, father-in-law to Frank, and nonno to Sean and Ria. May he rest in peace as he reunites with his grandson, Jesse.
