Brenton Morris George Hooff passed away in July 2018 at the age of 80 in Powell River, BC. Brent was predeceased by his loving wife Kathleen Hooff (Chisholm) and is survived by his children Sheryl, Tami, Gerry and Denise, 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Brent was born in Turtleford, SK to Ray and Irene Hooff and moved to Powell River when he was 5 years old, where he grew up alongside his 4 brothers and 4 sisters. After graduating from Brooks Secondary, he became an electrician and worked for many years at the Vancouver School Board until his retirement in 1998 at which time he moved back to his home town. Brent was known for being an exceptional carpenter and gardener as well as an avid golfer, life long Blue Jays fan and music enthusiast. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sept 8, 2018 at the Powell River Legion. Doors open @12:00pm for refreshments and service to begin @ 1:30pm proceeded by interment at the Cranberry Cemetery.
