Deanna Judith Mcgregor

July 8, 1964 - February 27, 2013

Tribute

Entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 is our beloved Deanna Judith McGregor. Born July 8, 1964 to Sydney and Daniel Adamson, Deanna shared with the world 48 years of beauty, rarity, and generosity. Deanna is survived by her wonderful husband of 30 years Michael, her beautiful and brave daughter Jordyn, her loving parents Sydney & Daniel, her caring sister Susan, and her admiring niece Kori. Many other very close and dear family members and friends remember Deanna and have been of great support to the aforementioned during their time of struggle. Deanna's strong presence in the lives of others and in the Powell River community will be deeply missed but always remembered in the fondest of ways.

Delphinium, Ad Infinitum
Lavished by her eloquence,
overwhelmed by her beauty,
wisdom and triumph bloom.
Her unique colours flourish,
the open petals of her heart allure,
ever entranced by her lingering perfume.
As seasons do this one must end,
her blossoms falling elegantly to the ground.
She leaves behind an everlasting imprint,
that by the memory of her virtue she will forever be found.
-Kori

Deanna was an awesome lady. Very thoughtful and loving in the 3 years I have known her. I am very glad I got to meet and talk to her. She will be deeply missed by all who’s lives she has touched. She is now flying high with the eagles. After all she is an angel of great beauty.

From: Gerry Combes
Relation: friend and sister at heart

Blonde locks of hair, a pair or sometimes 2 of sunglasses on morning, noon and night, her fashion statement on how she felt that day a sweat shirt or, if a hockey day, a jersey, and a smile.
I was reaching for the phone and remembered it’s Wednesday she’ll be with her “Old Guy Jim” I’ll text her tomorrow (cuz we all know not to call her, it costs too much) but tomorrow will never come, it’s been a week since you left us and I still do not believe it true or understand why
We had promised rides to do in the Beamer cruising down to Lund with the top down, her hair going every which way, we had coffee and birthday lunches in July. So many things to do that sadly no time to do them.
You where there for everyone, you touched so many people in your life. You gave & took nothing and asked for nothing, you were not judgmental you opened your heart and home to those who needed it
When times where tough you had someone to lean on, just to be loved for who you where, to have someone listen to you and not judge you. We came into each others lives for a reason and as it was all too short our friendship will last a lifetime in my heart. I so so miss you, feel my hug, feel my love, feel the sisterhood in my heart forever.
