Tribute
Gerd Harvey, just a few days short of her 91st birthday, passed away on February 5, 2023.
She is survived by Gerry, her husband of 70 years, and her son Peter (Wendy). She was predeceased by her parents Peder and Elly, her brother Arne, and her eldest son David.
Although born in Canada, mom was a fiercely loyal Norwegian, and a long suffering Maple Leafs fan. She was also an avid supporter of the Powell River BC SPCA, and very gracious and outgoing. She often struck up conversations with people she met, wherever she went. There were no strangers, only friends she hadn’t met yet.
