Tribute

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ron at the age of 83 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Jean; daughters, Diana, Pat, Sue (Bob), sons, Larry (Lil) and Warren; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marian, Audrey, and Irene, brother-in-law’s Jack (Carol) and Lou; also many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by grandson, Sandy Schreurs, granddaughter, Rhonda Anderson, sister, Peggy Walters and sister-in-law, Bev Laughin. There will be a memorial service held at 2pm on Friday, June 24th from the chapel at Stubberfield funeral home, 7221 Duncan Street. Following the service, a reception will be held at the Canadian Legion, BR 164. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Olive Devaud Residence in Powell River, in Ron’s name.
