Tribute
It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Thea surrounded by family at her Kiwanis home. She was predeceased by her loving husband Anton in 1989 and will be greatly missed by her two children Tony Saat (Debbie) of Jasper, Trudy Davies (Kerry) of Powell River and her treasured grandchildren Brent (Kristen), Alyssa (Cody) and Justin. Thea will be remembered by all who knew her as a loving, kind and appreciative person. She was always optimistic, supportive and respectful of others. Family and friends were her passion and joy. She was truly an example of all that is good in life.
We are so grateful to the Kiwanis staff, Dr. H. Strydom, home care palliative nursing staff and friends for the tremendous love, guidance and support for Thea and our family. We would also like to thank Father Dass and Stubberfield Funeral Home for their kindness. No service by request.
Thea’s smiles and subtle sense of humour will be greatly missed.
